Sri Jagannatha Temple Puri - Virtual Set

Finally I am able to share the Virtual Set I made for an Indian Historical Epic!

One of the four most sacred sites in all of India, Sri Jagannatha Temple Puri. Twice every day a devotee scales the main Vaimana backwards to place and remove the flag - a fearless devotional act in service to the Lords of the Vedas.

Approximately a month and a half's work. All Geometry modeled bespoke from reference. I had a spiritual revelation during this job, which turned the work into devotional service to Lord Vishnu. Profound stuff.

The main Vaimana is climbed every day as part of a flag ceremony in service to Lord Vishnu and others.
